What is the difference between blocking calls and using the Blacklist Callers function?
At Cleartone Communications, you can block callers from calling your business phone number who have withheld their numbers. This is a useful way of stopping unsolicited sales calls from coming through on your business telephone service. However, it is not the same thing as blacklisting specific numbers. With Blacklist Callers, you can stop callers from reaching you even if they have not withheld their number.
Can I unblock a number that I have previously blacklisted with Blacklist Callers?
Yes, you can. Just like setting up a number that you want to blacklist, it is possible to remove a number from your Blacklist Callers list. Simply head to the relevant section of your Online Dashboard to do this.
Which business telephone numbers can I use Blacklist Callers with?
The Blacklist Callers feature is available with all of the business telephone numbers that are available to buy from Cleartone Communications. As such, you can make use of the service whether you have bought an 0207 number, an 0333 number or any other geographical or non-geographical business number from us. Is it possible to use the Blacklist Callers feature with multiple telephone numbers?
Usually, the Blacklist Callers feature will be used to block specific numbers from being able to call you using your business phone line. However, the service offers a great deal more flexibility than being able to blacklist individual numbers. You can also use it to blacklist entire tranches of numbers, such as all 0871 telephone numbers, for example. You could also use the service to block callers with certain geographical area codes from calling you, if wanted, such as 0141 numbers.
