At Cleartone communications, we offer a Business Call Whisper service to all of our customers as standard. This optional feature tells you that you have a Business Call coming through, before you are connected to the caller.
The whisper is free to use regardless of which of our cost-effective call packages you have chosen. Indeed, it will work with our geographical business telephone numbers as well as our non-geographical ones. So, you can use it whether you have an 0333 number or an 0207 number, an 0800 number or an 0117 number. A Business Call Whisper offers numerous advantages to business people, especially when they are out and about, perhaps answering multiple calls to their business telephone number on their mobile phone.
A Business Call Whisper is an announcement you will hear when a business call is coming through to your chosen telephone number once you answer your phone. It can work with both mobile phones and landlines. Rather than you being unaware of the nature of the call, a whispered announcement will be made that only you can hear.
It will say that there is a call to your business telephone number coming in. You can decide to answer the inbound call or if you are unable to speak, the new caller will end up being answered by your Cleartone Business Voicemail service.

When you have a new business call announced to you, it will inform you instantly that it is not a personal call waiting to be answered. If you are not on an important call, this will give you the chance to round it up and answer the new call. However, the person you are currently talking to will not know that you are winding things up so you can answer another call since only you will be able to hear the whispered announcement. If you want to stay on your current call, then, of course, you can choose to do so.
A virtual assistant will announce the fact that you have a business call coming through. Simply, press 1 on your telephone’s keypad to accept the incoming call. It is as simple as that. Please bear in mind that the inbound call will have no idea their call is being announced. They will hear your chosen welcome message and then listen to the phone ringing as usual until you are able to answer it.
The default call whisper announcement states that you have a business call and that you need to press 1 to accept it or 2 to send the caller to your business voicemail. This can be altered and we can also customise the service so you know which of your business numbers is being called, whether it is your freephone number or your sales line, for example.

Therefore, if you have multiple number forwarding to the same landline or mobile, we can customise the whisper to let you know which number has been called. For example, “You have a business call for your plumbing business” or “You have a business call for your construction company”.
